License Agreement (EULA)

IMPORTANT - READ CAREFULLY
Please read this agreement carefully before installing or using the software.
By downloading, installing, or using this software application and its associated materials (“Software” and “Related Materials”), you agree to comply with the terms and conditions outlined below. This agreement is between you and FastPDFPro (“FastPDFPro”).
1. LICENSE TERMS & USER OBLIGATIONS
a. Permitted Use
You may use the Software and Related Materials solely for lawful purposes. Reselling, sharing, licensing, or distributing copies of the Software without prior written consent is strictly prohibited.
b. Intellectual Property
All rights to the Software and its components remain with FastPDFPro or its licensors. Unauthorized reproduction, reverse engineering, or modification is strictly forbidden, except where permitted by applicable open-source licenses.
c. Liability & Indemnity
You agree to indemnify FastPDFPro and its affiliates from any claims arising from your use of the Software. FastPDFPro will not be held liable for indirect, incidental, or special damages, and total liability will not exceed $100.
d. Warranty Disclaimer
The Software is provided “as-is” without any express or implied warranties, including guarantees of performance or reliability. Use is at your own risk.
e. Governing Law & Arbitration
This agreement is governed by the laws of New York, USA. Any disputes must be resolved via binding arbitration in San Francisco under the rules of the American Arbitration Association.
f. Termination
This license is effective until terminated. You may terminate it at any time by uninstalling the Software. Breach of this agreement results in automatic termination.
g. Prohibited Activities
You are prohibited from: - Violating any laws or infringing third-party rights - Transmitting malicious software - Disrupting services or networks - Engaging in unauthorized data collection - Circumventing security features
The Software is not designed for use in critical systems like nuclear plants or life-support devices.
h. Injunctive Relief
If you breach this agreement, FastPDFPro may seek legal or injunctive relief to prevent further harm.
i. Waiver
Any failure by FastPDFPro to enforce a provision of this agreement does not constitute a waiver of future enforcement.
j. Export Control
You agree not to export the Software to restricted countries or parties as defined under U.S. law.
k. Force Majeure
FastPDFPro is not responsible for delays or failures caused by events beyond its control, such as natural disasters or cyberattacks.
l. Non-transferability
You may not assign this agreement without written consent. FastPDFPro may assign its rights without notice.
m. System Modifications
By installing the Software, you allow it to make necessary changes to your system registry.
n. Uninstallation
Uninstall options are provided during and after installation. Visit the Add/Remove Programs section in Windows to remove the Software.
2. LICENSING TERMS
a. General License
You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use the Software under these terms. Software updates are also covered unless accompanied by separate terms.
b. Third-Party Components
Some parts of the Software may include third-party or open-source technologies. Your use of these components must comply with their respective licenses.
3. SOFTWARE DISTRIBUTION
Redistribution of the Software is not permitted unless explicitly authorized by FastPDFPro. For permissions, visit the FastPDFPro contact page.
4. DATA USAGE
You authorize FastPDFPro to collect and use non-personally identifiable information to enhance and update the Software. Automatic updates may be installed to improve functionality.
5. AGE LIMITATION
Use of the Software is restricted to individuals aged 13 and older. FastPDFPro complies with COPPA regulations.
6. ADVERTISING & THIRD-PARTY MATERIALS
In return for some of the PDF Editor features of FastPDFPro, you may choose to be a peer on the Bright Data network. By doing so you agree to have read and accepted the Terms of Service of the Bright SDK EULA: https://bright-sdk.com/eula and Bright Data’s Privacy Policy: https://bright-sdk.com/privacy-policy.
You may opt out of the Bright Data network by clicking the ‘Web Indexing’ toggle in the Settings menu of the application.
If you choose to transact with any third party and or Bright Data network, you are solely responsible for ensuring that you accept and comply with their terms of use and/or privacy policies, including, without limitation, where applicable, their privacy, shipping, billing, order cancellation, refund and/or exchange terms or policies.
FastPDFPro does not warrant or endorse and takes no responsibility and assumes no liability for any third-party content you encounter when you use the Services or any third-party software, websites, online resources, goods and services or links thereto, as described above (collectively, “Third Party Materials”). All Third-Party Materials are provided solely for your convenience. To the extent you choose to use or rely on such third-party Materials, you are solely responsible for your use of and reliance on such third-party Materials and for your compliance with applicable law.
7. THIRD-PARTY APPLICATIONS
FastPDFPro may suggest third-party tools or extensions. Use of these tools is governed by their own licenses. FastPDFPro disclaims liability for third-party products.
8. TERMS MODIFICATIONS
FastPDFPro reserves the right to update these terms. Continued use after updates constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
